The mechanisms of action of energy healing might involve optimization of the electromagnetic human field and the auric field, along with proper channeling techniques, as the studies suggest that the energies provided by the healer are so strong that the source must be extracorporeal.

Energy healing, energy therapy, energy medicine, or spiritual healing are branches of alternative medicine and contains several methods: hands-on, hands-off, and distant (or absent) where the patient and healer are in different locations.

This is an extremely useful tool for general well-being.  General population are demanding more of this modalities, despite being neglected by modern allopathic medicine.
